About NebraskaInfo.org
NebraskaInfo.org is an attempt to provide current, relevant information about Nebraska in an online format. I continue to add content to the website, in order to supply you with a single point of reference for Nebraska related information.
If you have visited this website in the past, you have most likely noticed the new look of the site. I have moved the website to a new server, and I am currently reorganizing the website, into what I believe is a more logical format. Due to the move and reorganization you will find that some of the content is no longer available, and I apologize for that. I am continually working on the website in my free time to replace all of the missing content, as well as adding new content to the site.

About Me
I was born in Norfolk Nebraska , and I have been a Nebraska resident for most of my life. I attended grade school at Northern Hills Elementary school in Norfolk, and completed 7th grade at Norfolk Junior High School.
After 7th grade, we moved to Pierce Nebraska where I attended Pierce High School for my 8th and 9th grade years. After my freshman year of High School, my family moved again, and I finished my High School career at Columbus High School, in Columbus Nebraska. During my last few years of school, we lived in both Columbus, and Duncan Nebraska, and shortly after I completed my High School education, my family moved back to Pierce.
I attended Northeast Community College for three years, in Norfolk. My major area of study was physics and chemestry. I however did not complete my education, and did not attain a degree for my work. During this time I also worked at a few different jobs; I worked in the folding room at Affiliated Foods, where I operated an ad folding machine and sorted mail. I also worked at Freezer Services, which was a cold/frozen storage facility for Nebraska Boxed Beef.
In roughly 1993 I moved to Lincoln Nebraska where I held several jobs ranging from cashier, box stuffer and warehouse worker. I stayed in Lincoln until 1996, when I moved to Neodesha Kansas, and worked at Cobalt Boats, a run-about boat manufacturer.
While living in Kansas, I met my first wife, with whom I have two children, a son, and a daughter. Not long after getting married for the first time, it was suggested that I continue my education and attain a college degree. So living in Kansas at the time, I did what most people would do, I applied to attend classes at Southeast Community College in Lincoln Nebraska.
I began attending school in the fall of 1998, at SCC in Lincoln, where my major area of study was Microcomputer Technology. I chose the computer programming path, as I had always enjoyed writing programs while I was growing up. Near the end of my schooling, I was required to perform an internship, which I did at Nebraska Interactive External Link (http://www.nebraska.gov), the manager of the State of Nebraska's web portal. After my internship, I became a full time employee of Nebraska.gov as a web application developer. It was my job to create web based applications for Nebraska state government agencies. One of the first, and most used, applications I created is The Nebraska DMV Interactive Drivers Test External Link (http://www.nebraska.gov/dmv_cgi/2003exam/practice_test.cgi), which allows users to prepare for their written driving exam online.
After moving on from Nebraska.gov, I had a few other jobs where the main focus of my work was developing web applications. Currently I work as the IT Manager of an International Direct Marketing company, but the majority of my time is spent working on web applications, and web site maintenance.
In 2006, I got married to the greatest woman in the world, and we have three daughters ranging in age from twelve to two years old. For those of you keeping track, that is correct, I have four daughters, one son, and a fantastic wife. Life is good!
Well that's where I'm at today... I'm surprised you read this far...
Thanks, Jason
